Newsletter, Plugins & Tools

Newsletter data: If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter offered on the website, we will need you to provide an email address and further information that will allow us to check whether you are the holder of the email address and consent to receiving the newsletter. Further data will not be collected or only on a voluntary basis. We will use this data exclusively for the purpose of sending the requested information and will not pass it on to third parties. We will only ever process the data you enter in the newsletter subscription form with your consent in accordance with point (a) of Art. 6 (1) GDPR. Our own services

Use of applicant data: We might offer you the chance to apply for a job with us (e.g. by email, by post or via the online application form). We would like to inform you about the scope, purpose and use of your personal data collected during the application process. We assure that your data will be collected, processed and used in accordance with the applicable data protection laws and all other legal provisions and that your data will be treated as strictly confidential.
Scope and purpose of data collection: If you send us an application, we will process the relevant personal data (e.g. contact details, communication data, application documents, notes made during job interviews), provided this is necessary for deciding whether to conclude an employment contract with you. The legal basis for this is Section 26 of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) under German law (establishment of an employment relationship), point (b) of Art. 6 (1) GDPR (general initiation of a contract) and, if you give your consent, point (a) of Art. 6 (1) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time. Your personal data will only be shared with the individuals within our organisation who are responsible for processing your application. If your application is successful, the data you have submitted will be stored in our data processing systems for the purpose of performing the employment relationship on the basis of Section 26 BDSG and point (b) of Art. 6 (1) GDPR.
Retention of data: If we cannot offer you a position within our organisation, if you reject a job offer or if you withdraw your application, we reserve the right to store the data you have provided on the basis of our own legitimate interests (point (f) of Art. 6 (1) GDPR) for up to 6 months after the application process has come to an end (rejection or withdrawal of application). Your data will then be deleted and your physical application documents will be destroyed. Your data will be stored particularly for the purpose of gathering evidence in the event of a legal dispute. If it is evident that your data will be required beyond the 6-month period (e.g. due to a potential or impending legal dispute), your data will only be deleted when the purpose for which it continues to be stored no longer applies. Your data may also be stored beyond the specified period if you give your consent in accordance with point (a) of Art. 6 (1) GDPR or if we cannot delete your data in accordance with our statutory retention obligations.
